ReGen Brands Primer + Booth Guide - Expo West 2025
It’s that time again, when Anaheim, CA becomes the epicenter for natural and organic products at “the Super Bowl of CPG,” Natural Products Expo West. This year, the show has a shorter format but no shortage of booths, sessions, and social events spotlighting regenerative agriculture and the brands championing its development. If you’re looking for a guide on all things regenerative at Expo West, you came to the right place.
Booth Guide
This year, ReGen Brands Institue is tracking 65 exhibitor brands that are supporting regenerative agriculture. We define supporting regenerative agriculture as the brand 1) making at least one on-pack product-specific regenerative claim and / or 2) the brand making publicly available broad claims across their product portfolio / supply chain. Of the 65 exhibitors, 19 brands are members in the ReGen Brands Coaliton. Make sure to check out the brands exhibiting in the Fresh Ideas tent on Tuesday as that is the only day its open!
The full exhibitor list is embedded below and can also be viewed in a separate page HERE.
Are we missing an exhibitor supporting regenerative? Let us know!
Climate Day, Pitch Slam, & NEXTYs
Regenerative agriculture will be well-represented at Climate Day. The ReGen Brands Coalition will have a booth, so come visit us during Lunch (11:15-11:45 AM) or the Reception & Resource Fair (4:00-6:00 PM) to learn more about our work and how you can get involved. We’re looking for new brand members, sponsors, and retailer partners. You can see the full Climate Day agenda and resource fair participants HERE - there is no shortage of regenerative content or organizations exhibiting! Our favorite sessions from Climate Day are highlighted below in the Regen On The Agenda section.
Later on Tuesday, we have two regenerative brands pitching for investor support at the Pitch Slam. Susan Hartman will be representing Recoup, and Michael D. Ham will be representing Wild Orchard. Join us on Tuesday night (6:30-8:00 PM) to cheer on these trailblazers! Last year, two regenerative brands, Painterland Sisters and Philosopher Foods, took home first and second place, so we’re rooting for a regen repeat with Recoup and Wild Orchard this year.
On Thursday night, we’ll see what regenerative products and brands take home some hardware from the 2025 NEXTY Awards. This year, 21 brands supporting regenerative agriculture and 13 products featuring on-pack regenerative claims have been selected as finalists. You can see a full list of the NEXTY finalists we’re tracking HERE - including Product Name, Brand Name, Product Webpage (if available), NEXTY Category, and whether the product has an on-pack regen claim. We’re especially curious to see the winner of the Certified Regenerative category, with finalist products from Big Tree Farms, Groundwork Coffee, Jovial Foods, Nature's Path, and Stoked Oats. Best of luck to all the regenerative brands and especially Coalition member, Alec’s Ice Cream, with their new Culture Cup Mint Chocolate Cookie in the Frozen Dessert category.
